He estado temiendo hacer este artículo porque los cambios en el sistema de facturación del suministro eléctrico doméstico son una pesadilla para entender, y mucho menos para explicar. Pero ahí va… A partir de principios de este mes, todo el sistema cambió (ya era bastante complicado incluso como estaba) pero ahora todo el mundo está atrapado en un sistema de precios variable según la hora del día. Ni que decir tiene que cuando más necesitas consumir electricidad, el precio por hora es el más alto.
Por lo tanto, se puede optar por un suministro de mayor potencia (potencia punta) desde las 08.00h hasta la medianoche o de menor potencia (potencia valle) desde la medianoche hasta las 08.00h y las 24 horas del día los fines de semana y los días festivos nacionales.
El Gobierno dice que con estos cambios pretende adaptar el sistema a los utilizados en otros países europeos, reduciendo las tarifas fijas o permanentes y aumentando el cobro por la electricidad consumida, lo que favorecería un mejor consumo de energía; es decir, menos.
